SITECO

We are a privately organised non-profit Association which implements projects in the field of vocational education primarily in emerging nations and development countries. We thus render possible a technical or other vocational education for adolescents in aspiring occupational areas, for which they may attain a recognized certificate of ability or diploma. Our policy is to provide “support for self-support”, from the educational basic training up to the capability to prove one’s worth on the labour market.

This implies the conveyance of knowledge, skills and ethical behaviour. Our activities should contribute towards a better quality of life as well as an improvement in the Gross Domestic Product in emerging nations and development countries.

We promote dual vocational education!

In order to live up to the spirit of all-in dual vocational education and training, we cooperate with private, governmental and mixed-economy institutions. We commence with a comprehensive analysis about the requirements, chances, risks and longevity of the project. The institutions are being developed in phases in cooperation with local experts; the latter shall professionally manage these and advance them in school-owned training workshops up to commercial viability.

„Dual Vocational Education & Training“ (VET) constitutes a dual form of education/training, whereby state-recognized colleges/schools implement and monitor integrated curricula concepts in collaboration with production and service companies. It conveys a broad theoretical education at college/school as well as a practical training at the workplace leading to mutually generated diplomas mirroring both features. Depending on the vocational sector, the educational part varies between 20 and 60 %.

As a rule, our educational model centers around “Production based education”,  i.e. 60 % training,  40 % education: this combination between learning and production should keep schooling fees – the most forceful stumbling block for many adolescent trainees – within bounds. The requirements of the industry as also the local population form the emanating point of our projects. The aims are productivity, prosperity and quality.

We follow the standards of Euro-compatibility EQF (European Qualification Framework), EUROPASS and ISCED (International Standard Classification of Education).

The know-how of the SITECO Board comprises of educational methodology, management and educational knowledge of secondary level II as well as of academic level, of technical and international management, governmental experience and diplomacy, jurisprudence and innovation strategy for globally active corporations. The network or our Board members permit partnerships of a manifold nature which lead to sustainable and bespoke project solutions. The status of our independence allows for corruption-free handling of projects.

We are contact persons for politicians, business executives and project leaders.
We are executors for political and commercial principals as well as for organisations.

Financing

SITECO is a non-profit Association. Our cooperation partners for sponsoring are selected foundations and partner enterprises who back the projects by way of financial, technical and management support resp. implement same on site. A project can also be carried by pre-financing of educational services to follow, by monetary contributions, or by material donations and services on site. The local institution and the company on site are being involved in the financing in line with the specific situation.
